"This Monday, after years of meticulous conservation and a complete gallery renovation, we’re opening the doors to our spectacular new display of early European art, arms, and armor. Featuring nearly 700 objects from the Middle Ages and Renaissance, including monumental altarpieces, exquisite jewelry, and armored figures on horseback, the expansive new installation resurrects the chivalric, domestic, and spiritual worlds of a time that continues to enchant and inspire. "
