Concerns at the National Museum of Ireland

The Irish government plans to ‘temporarily’ accommodate the the Irish Senate (Seanad Éireann) in the Ceramics Room of Kildare Street branch of the National Museum of Ireland. Concerns have been raised over the decisions effects on visitor numbers, museum funding and the long term future of the collections. Those sharing these concerns can sign a petition organized by the Irish Arts Review. The petition is addressed to the Irish Prime Minister (An Taoiseach) and asks the government to halt this planned relocation of the Seanad.
